ΜΗΝΥΜΑ Α.Θ.Μ. ΓΙΑ ΤΗΝ ΕΟΡΤΗ ΤΟΥ ΡΑΜΑΖΑΝΙΟΥ (2020)
Μὲ τὴν εὐκαιρία τῆς ὁλοκληρώσεως τοῦ ἱεροῦ μῆνα τοῦ Ραμαζανίου, ἐπιθυμῶ νὰ ἀπευθύνω εὐχές φιλάδελφες ἀπὸ τὰ βάθη τῆς καρδιᾶς μου, πρὸς τοὺς Μουσουλμάνους συμπολῖτες μας στὴν εὐλογημένη γῆ τοῦ Νείλου καὶ πρὸς τοὺς Μουσουλμάνους ἁπανταχοῦ τοῦ Ἀραβικοῦ κόσμου. Ἄν καὶ φέτος ἡ ἀνθρωπότητα δοκιμάστηκε καὶ ἀκόμη δοκιμάζεται ἀπὸ τὴν πανδημία τοῦ covid-19, κατὰ τὴν ὁποία ἑκατοντάδες συνάνθρωποί μας ἔχασαν τὴν ζωή τους στὸν ἄνισο αὐτὸν ἀγῶνα, ὡστόσο σὰν ἄνθρωποι ἀδύνατοι ἀλλὰ πιστοὶ στὴν πρόνοια τοῦ Φιλάνθρωπου Θεοῦ, δὲν παύουμε νὰ προσευχόμαστε νυχθημερόν, ὥστε νὰ ἐπανέλθει ἡ ἀνθρωπότητα στὴν κανονικότητά της, καὶ νὰ βασιλεύσει πάνω στὴν γῆ, ἡ εἰρήνη, ἡ χαρὰ καὶ ἡ ἐλπίδα.
Χαιρετίζω καὶ συγχαίρω τὸν Ἐξοχώτατο Πρόεδρο τῆς Ἀραβικῆς Δημοκρατίας τῆς Αἰγύπτου, κ. Ἀμπντέλ Φατάχ ἐλ Σίσι, γιὰ τὰ μέτρα καὶ τὶς πρωτοβουλίες ποὺ ἀνέλαβε, προκειμένου νὰ διαφυλάξει τὴν ὑγείαν τῶν συμπολιτῶν μας, διότι ἡ ὑγεία εἶναι τὸ πιὸ πολύτιμο ἀγαθὸ ποὺ χαρίζει ὁ Θεὸς στὸν ἄνθρωπο. Χαιρετίζω τὴν συνδρομή τῶν Αἰγυπτιακῶν Ἀρχῶν καὶ τοῦ νοσηλευτικοῦ προσωπικοῦ, στὴν ἀντιμετώπιση τῆς ἄδικης αὐτῆς κρίσεως, διά τῆς παροχῆς σωτηρίου νοσηλείας σὲ ἀσθενοῦντας συνανθρώπους μας. Εὔχομαι δὲ προσωπικῶς, στὸν Ἐξοχώτατο Πρόεδρο καὶ στὸν φιλειρηνικό λαό τῆς Αἰγύπτου ὁ Παντοδύναμος Θεὸς νὰ μᾶς προστατεύει ὅλους ἀπό κάθε ἐπιβουλή καὶ νὰ μᾶς χαρίζει πλούσια τὰ ἐλέη τῆς ὑγείας καὶ τῆς εἰρήνης.

MESSAGE FROM HIS BEATITUDE FOR THE FEAST OF RAMADAN (2020)
On the occasion of the completion of the holy month of Ramadan, I wish to address wholehearted fraternal wishes to our Muslim fellow citizens in the blessed Land of the Nile and to Muslims throughout the Arabic world.
Although this year the humanity has been tested and is still being tested by the pandemic of covid-19, during which hundreds of our fellow humans lost their lives in this unequal struggle, however as weak humans who still believe in the providence of the Merciful God, we do not cease praying day and night for humanity to return to its normality and for peace, joy and hope to return to earth.
I great and congratulate His Excellency the President of the Arabic Republic of Egypt, Mr. Abdel Fatah Al Sisi, on the measures and initiatives he took, in order to preserve to health of our fellow citizens, because health is the most precious asset that God grants to mankind.
I welcome the assistance of the Egyptian authorities and the nursing staff, in dealing with this unjust crisis, through the provision of hospital care to our fellow human beings. I personally wish His Excellency the President and the peace-loving people of Egypt, that the Omnipotent God will protect us all from every treachery and to grant us the rich mercies of health and peace.
